Free to play on testnet! Follow these steps.

1. Add Metamask browser extension on your PC or Laptop. A new wallet to test is advised.

2. New users will need to mine and send Goerli ETH to the Optimism Bridge address:

• Mine by pasting your Metamask address here: #. Goerli ETH tokens have NO VALUE. You will need to mine at least .10 ETH for extended gameplay, or more if you plan to play a lot. When you end your mining session and claim, the token balance appears on "Goerli test network" (marked with a blue dot in Metamask). If you do don't see Goerli go to settings > advanced > show test networks.

3. SEND the Goerli test network ETH to this bridge address: 0x636Af16bf2f682dD3109e60102b8E1A089FedAa8

4. Go to # and "connect wallet" to add/switch to Optimism Goerli test network. You will see an ETH balance. (sometimes it takes a few minutes to appear).

5. Go to Valhalla.game. Click "play now", play "INTRO". Connect Metamask when prompted to create and customize your FREE character. Welcome to Valhalla, Viking.

Is this the full version of the game?

No, Valhalla will be developed in iterations with new updates coming weekly.

When will the full game be released?

This version will include several key features that incorporate game economics, quests, clans, open world traversal, island deeds, player NFTs, creature NFTs, item NFTs and even eSports. When the economy is balanced and the DAO is satisfied with the direction, the main net launch will be announced.

Will I be able to play to earn with this version?‍

Play to earn is not supported on testnet. However, the top public testers will be rewarded upon main net launch for their progress.

On what devices can I play this release?‍

This release is browser-based. Most people will play on their desktop or laptop computers. The addition of a mobile supported version of Valhalla is on the longterm roadmap after the PC version is available on the main net.

The first phase of the BOMES card (happening now!) involves virtual prepaid debit cards while the second phase involves physical cards and is planned for later this year in line with the BOMES roadmap.
